Im surprised and disappointed that MetaStock 13 Pro does not provide tick data. Im looking for 45000 ticks and 27000 ticks in the Eminis and other futures markets. Anyone from MetaStock know if its in the short term horizon. If not might have to go to Tradestation or someone else. That would be much more useful to me than something gimmicky such as the forecaster, which in reality is only a picture form of the simple estimated move of the market formula which I use.

The forecaster is doing quite a bit of probability / statistical crunching of each pattern type to draw the forecast cloud so if you have a simple formula accomplishing this that is pretty impressive! There are plans to expand this functionality to include different time frames and custom user defined formulas among some other useful functionality.
As to your original concern, MetaStock Pro has had tick data since its creation. Perhaps you are referring to 'tick bars'? If so, this is something that is definitely planned for future release.

Yep tick bars. About the forcaster maybe talk to a Market Maker pre computer days they may be ale to explain it better.

Tick bars are hopefully coming sooner than later. I don't want to set inappropriate expectations about a specific version, but this is something we are actively working on.
