Yes, I logged into the forum to post this same issue. An EXPLORE agains the U.S. Optionable Stocks data used to take about 10 minutes - 15 max. Now takes a minimum of 35 minutes and often as long as 50 minutes. No changes to hardware, environment, or connectivity. Internet connect same and speeds the same. Any reolutions to this???

Hello,

Sorry for the issue you are having with slow data requests. We are working with our data vendor to implement a solution for this. We hope to have a bit more information by early next week for a potential short-term aid to this issue, while a longer-term solution is determined. I will add an additional reply here once I have more information. We do realize that this slowdown is a major workflow concern and is our top priority to get resolved.

Hello, I wanted to provide a quick update here. We were able to identify the cause of the slowness and provide this information to our data vendor. They will be implementing multiple changes on their end to address this long-term, but changes were also made to increase data volume limits (how much data you can request per minute) to alleviate these speed issues. This change is effective immediately. Because the issue was addressed on the server/account side of things, no update of MetaStock is needed to address this issue.
