I'm using MetaStock EOD 13, I found when the folder MSSmart in C:\Users\<myusername>\App Data\Local homson
Reuters\MetaStock\13.0\DataOnDemand Cache is more than 7.0 MB, or the file numbers in it is more than 700, the charts then I opened will be strange picture, similar to Smart Chart but not it.

The reopened charts will be normal Smart Chart after I delete all the files in the folder MSSmart.

There are some useful charts in the folder MSSmart that I want not delete, can anyone help me? thanks.

Are you able to see the full filename + file extension? If you right click on the file and choose Properties, is there any program it is associated to Open With?

                Justin, thanks for your reply.

The full filename is such as SRE.mws (SRE is stock symbol).

The files are associated to open with mswin.

 Best regards,

 Wens

Right now this is not something we can reproduce. I loaded over 800 securities into my folder and it continued to function normally. We may need more information on the PC itself. Since you don't seem to be crashing, I am not sure anything would really show up in a log file regarding this.
