I need the formula for this. let me explain it to you on a chart.31 may-5 july highest C price<5 july-today highest C price BUT 31 may-5 july highest value>5 july-today highest value additionally is it possible to scan for more than one date range like the date range I gave you ? Let's say our timeline is February 15th - May 31th. There are two points we need to consider: the highest closing price the highest price between that range (not closing price) For example: YCRW (YRC Worldwide nc.-NASDAQ)stock made the highest closed price at 23.05 in that timeline. But the highest price is 25. The way I take while analysing a stock is: If any of those prices has been breached above then it will go on higher.Let's take YRCW for an example. Since May 31th, it closed higher than 23.05 for the first time in June 18th (closed at 23.25). BUT since May 31th to that date, the price was never higher than 25. Because it went higher than 23.05, it means the price will pass the 25 point, too. That's my green light. And in June 20th it goes above that point (25) and the highest point is 25.50. Now I want to scan the stocks by these two criteria. When I scan the stocks, I want it to be able to list the stocks that closed higher than the highest closing price or the stocks that the highest point in that time range (February 15th - May 31th) was breached above. Only one of these factors should be materialized.
