HI,

I AM NEW TO THIS POST AND A USER OF METASTOCK...I WANT SOME GUIDANCE FROM MASTERS HERE AS TO HOW TO DRAW A VALID AND PERFECT TRENDLINE AND HOW TO MARK SUPPORT AND RESISTANCE LINES IN CANDLESTICK CHARTS...AS PER JOHN MURPHYS BOOK TECHNICAL ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL MKTS A VALID TRENDLINE HAS TO CONNECT 3 LOWS (UPTREND)...SHOULD THESE BE PIVOT POINTS AND HOW CAN WE RECOGNISE A PIVOT?KINDLY REPLY...

Trendlines are like beauty - all in the eye of the beholder.
You might look at some of the addons Equis sells and then get some feedback on the forum before purchasing.
I have done some stuff using the Zig function.
