My father and I both use Medved QuoteTracker and we both use MetaStock (I'm 9.1EOD and he's 10EOD). As far as I know there's no way to link the two, nor does MS use any of the numerous (several dozen) data sources that Medved can access (Reuters wants to limit, not enhance, alternative data sources because it sells expensive data feeds. I use MLDownloader and free Yahoo data.).

One small feature of Medved that I really like, which MS doesn't have, is the large stock-symbol "watermark" that appears in large bold letters faintly in the background of charts (it can be turned off if desired). At a glance, we can see the symbol from several feet away if necessary - no squinting at the title bar needed to see which stock we're looking at.

I wish Equis would implement such useful, easy-to-code stuff. Version 10 looks like a huge disappointment to me after many months between releases; my father has it only because it's his first MS version. It's more like 9.5.
