Patrick, first time I try to install the forumdll, but it does not show. I install at C:\\Program Files\\Equis\\MetaStock\\External Function DLLs and my version is MS 9.0. The ASI dll installed fine. Any suggestion?

Patrik, I used both the self install and the dll file from the forum. The self install did not work (no dll file in the folder). Now there is a dll in t eeh folder as I copied the dll from teh forum, but it still does not show in the funcyion builder. The ASI dll installed without any problem with teh self install. I have metastock 9.0 Thnks

Still no luck. I copied the file, but it still does not show up in the function list. Any other suggestion?

I'm having the same problem. The self install didn't work so I dragged the dll into the External Function folder and it still doesn't show in the function builder. I have MS 9.0. Any suggestions

The Wilders dll is the only one I've downloaded that works. 8.0 beta, 9.0 beta, Fama, and Forumdll no worky.

Patrik, I think the problem is not in the DLL´s at all. Remember I said that version 8 works fine with 8 and 9. On one of my test systems I ran Forumdll 8 on both Metastock 8 & 9 no problem at all. But could not run Forumdll 9 on neither. I have got some more feed back from some friends: One of them cannot run neither 8 nor 9 on his system. Like neal. Others can run only 8, some others can run both. I think what to blame is actually Windows. Why do not you try a Poll to know: Windows Version Metastock Version Dll version Maybe we can figure it out :( ! Bulli

Good point; I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it is a Windows problem. I have Windows XP Home Edition 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600. I also have Office 2003

On the system test: It was running Win Xp Pro 5.1 Build 2600 SP2 Ran Forumdll 8 on both Metastock 8 & 9 just fine. Could not run Forumdll 9 on neither including the new Beta :ranting: Bulli :)

My impression is that the MS8.0 version works just fine. 1. download 2. rename: ForumDll.dll 3. copy to subdir .....MetaStock\\External Function DLLs\ But just like the others, I don't see "ForumDll" in the functions list. But when you use it, for example: B:= ExtFml("ForumDll.latch",LE,LX,SE,SX); it works just fine.
