Hi Patrick, Under the preloaded password protected expert advisors, there is no alert that the users can opt for. Could Equis add this back and make them available in the downloads area? This enable us to trade more efficiently. The fact is that we cannot add the alert back as they are password protected... I seem to think that the step could be done quite easily... I would appreciate if this can be done..... spaceant

Hi Patrick, Thanks for your reply, I am using MS 8.0. Well, I am just trying to use the Expert Advisor of pp:Pivot Momentum. I back tested on historial data during the weekend and found the trade efficiency is extrememly high. Today, I have attached it to the real time quote. Suprisingly, I have found some serious faults..... it issued a buy signal and suddenly it disappeared afterwards..... also, it issued buy signal for a bar which was 4 to 5 bars back!! ...... more importantly, on a subsequently buy signal issued, a long exit signal was then issued (which again pointing to a few bars back from the recent bar) .... and later, after a few bars, the exit signal jumped back to the recent high making it a profitable trade instead of a loss..... This is not reliable and just to try to make up the trades!! This are servious faults..... what is that???? spaceant

[code:1:a57c65f793] also, it issued buy signal for a bar which was 4 to 5 bars back!! ...... more importantly, on a subsequently buy signal issued, a long exit signal was then issued (which again pointing to a few bars back from the recent bar) .... and later, after a few bars, the exit signal jumped back to the recent high making it a profitable trade instead of a loss..... [/code:1:a57c65f793] ... That is how some of the experts work ... According to the creator and its most loyal users there is nothing wrong with the plug in ... They use to have a yahoo group where they would discuss the plug in, it might still exist and you might get a good explanation from them. Now I'm not saying it is right but like henry mentioned a few times on this forum, the value of this plug in ( At least not to Henry and I) does not reside in the system or experts it provides but rather the functions it makes available. Like the latch function that we reproduced on the forum but also the pivots , time capsule functions etc ... Patrick

The experts that are included in this add-on are designed for daily charts and are not intended to be switched to intraday data
