Could I check how would I ensure that I have the latest symbols for the Public Online Datalists? Or do I just have to wait for a periodic update of these symbols?

Hello, Help > About will give you the Instrument List revision date. The InstrumentListSetup2.exe file can be manually downloaded from - https://www.metastock.com/customer/support/download/Symbols.aspx and the last updated date is also listed next to the file on this page.

Want to ask if it is intentional that there are ETF tickers in the stock folders. Shouldn't ETFs be placed inside the ETFs folders? Example: NYSE, NASDAQ folders have ETFs inside them. Metastock already has an individual US ETF folder.
By having ETFs inside the individual stock folders, it causes an issue because Downloader only limits downloads of up to 20K securities daily. ETFs would take up a substantial amount of these quota.

Hello, This is intentional as these exchanges are intended to be inclusive of all instruments that trade under them. I can appreciate the need to be able to configure instrument groups in order to make downloads more targeted. Part of the challenge here is to keep the Instrument List somewhat optimized. The XENITH for RT data feed does include additional search tools that one can use to build custom instrument lists, but this is unfortunately not available under the XENITH for Daily Charts data feed.
