I have been running TradeSim with Metastock 14 on Vista and have upgraded to a new computer with Windows 10. I now can't get TradeSim to run with Metastock . Has anyone else had this issue and if so how did you solve it. The creator of TradeSim has basically given up on the issue. I have the dll file in the correct directory according to Metasock helpdesk.

There might not be much we can do from our side, but what is the actual error you are receiving?

When I open Metastock it should automatically open TradeSim to run along side it but it is not doing this. The dll file is not appearing in the function list. I did initially have this problem on my previous computer and from what I recall I needed to copy the dll file into another directory aside from the external formula one.

I wonder how long this problem has existed. I can reproduce the problem with the DLL on a Windows 7 machine. I am not sure if the DLL has to be activated through a registration process or if the DLL should simply work, but it does not show up in my Functions list either. Unfortunately it does not appear they are actively developing this product which is what is likely required to resolve this.

I have had very little interest from the creator in resolving the problem. I guess I will just have to leave it at that for the moment. Thanks for your help.
