To display the Security Lists dialog click the Lists button in the Select Securities dialog. Perhaps you want to divide your securities into specific categories. To do this, you could create a list that includes only computer stocks, another that contains only commodities, another that contains only automobile stocks. Instead of having to select these individually each time for different data collections, you can group them into easily accessible lists. The same lists that you create with The DownLoader can also be used in MetaStock's Explorer when selecting the securities to explore. Open. Use this button to load the currently selected list into the Select Securities dialog. The existing folders will be replaced with the newly loaded folders. Save As. The DownLoader tests for over 100 different error conditions. The testing process involves selecting the files to test, testing the files, and viewing the Error Report.
