This topic has been brought up recently by other forum members, too. I don't think that you are alone. Unfortunately, I cannot duplicate it; and, therefore, I cannot actively assist you in troubleshooting it. I will forward your concerns to support so that a possible solution might be posted on the forum. As for me, regrding your direct question above, my QC datafeed is reporting the SIRI volume at 123,349,656... almost exactly what you are getting from e-signal. Datalink is reporting 123,349,970. This won't help you, but it will give you a comparative look at another subscriber.

There was an issue in version 9.0 where the volume would double on the daily bar. I believe this would happen when changing periodicities, and possibly even when refreshing the chart. I believe this was fixed in version 9.1.

Was the daily chart from eSignal or Reuters Data link or QuoteCetner?
From the comments is seems you are using eSignal data on damand?
Let me explain why the support rep would say the problem was eSignal .
Esignal has many historical server that provide historical data for real time and daily charts. When a Daily chart is open, MetaStock pulls the historical data from one of the many servers. The volume could be wrong on that server. When the same data is pulled up in eSignal software, it can pull the data from a different server that does not have the problem. I am not sure how eSignal could identify this server. But they need to address the bad data on that server.

the chart came from esignal , yes data on demand , I use Real time not a daily chart , and at real time chart it show diffrent volume, when I ask them what going on they said that they provide excellent data* not wrong data I check at they esignal data manager and if will came from bad server will automatic recognize bad data, When I check in data manager it show a correct data when I check in Metastock it show diffrent data... and what is annoy me that after one day a data is correct ,but that not help me in trading if I have real time I will not wait on second day to open or close trade... :( #-o

The eSignal software and MetaStock show different data because they are acessing two different servers.
Later the data shows correct in MetaStock, because the bad data was located on the server and corrected.
