Hey all! - As I am redefining my portfolio, I would like to determine the beta of the stocks I currently own. Does anyone ever tried to write a formula for Metastock? I searched the forum, but there was nothing about beta.
Wikipedia page : Beta coefficient

Hey ! Thank allot! This exactly the the kind of function I was looking for. The formula listed for alpha was: [code:1:699f952ca1]( Sum( ROC( CLOSE ,1 ,% ) ,21 ) - ( Fml( "Beta" ) * Sum( ROC( INDICATOR,1,%) ,21 ) ) ) / 21[/code:1:699f952ca1] Wher I changed the INDICATOR with [code:1:699f952ca1]Security("S&P",C) [/code:1:699f952ca1] to make it work!
