Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Registered, Registered Users Joined: 3/14/2005(UTC) Posts: 65 Location: Cocoa, Florida		I installed MetaStock Pro 8.0 on Friday so I am still learning it. I am using it as EOD (Reuters) only for now as I have real time quotes and charts from Ameritrade. When I right click on the chart and then go to Reasearch, all those links do not work. I went to the Metastock site to get an update for the Internet Menu Files but they have them for only up to 7.0. Is there somewhere I can get these updates for 8.0? Thanks Steve

Download it and place the file in "ALL" Metastock or MSWIN folder located on your computer. Apparently this problem occurs when you have multiple installation of metastock or remains of a previous install. Look for C:\\Program Files\\Equis\\Metastock copy it there Look for C:\\Program Files\\Equis\\MSWIN copy it there Etc ... hopefully this will work :)

Apparently that file is updated every time you use it as mine is dated 4/4/2005. I have made a search of my system and can find only a single occurence of a metastock or mswin folder. It is on H:, not C:. I hope that doesn't make a difference.

When you copied the new file in the MetaStcok folder, it did overwrite the previous file,right? Let me know if you have more info ... Patrick
