Metastock will run on multi core cpu's, but it is using only 1 core. It is not designed to take full advantage of modern cpu's.

If my CPU (i-7) contains 8-core cpu, can I run 7 Metastock applications at the same time for 7 different cores? and left 1 core for general system application, such as accessing internet.
Does any restriction on the number of Metastock running on the same system? such as Windows 7
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Metastock will only run 1 application on a computer at a time.
that means it will only use 1 core of your cpu and the rest are available for other programs

As Henry said, per computer, only one instance of MS can be run at a time. If you had 7 computers you could run 7 instances of MS; it doesn't matter if those machines are physical or virtual.

You will maybe have also a license problem running 7 metastock processes at the same time.. I think metastock license is limited to 2 "computers"...

Caution: MetaStock will *not* run in a virtual machine!
But why would you want to run 7 different instances of it anyhow?
