MetaStock version 18 introduced new charts and many accompanying features, including the ability to add arrows on the trendline. To add arrows on the trendline, follow the steps below:
MetaStock v18 --> Current - Open MetaStock.
- From the Power Console, select the Charts button.
- Open the desired chart.
- Type in the instrument using the Instrument(s) field at the top.
- Select instrument using Custom Online Data Lists or Public Online Data Lists.
- Select local data instrument using Local Data Lists.
- From the Trendline toolbar on the left side of MetaStock, select the Trendline.
- Click at the desired start point, move the mouse to the desired end point and click again.
- Double click, or right-click and select Properties, on the trendline.
- Select the Right Arrow option.
- Select the Left Arrow option, if desired.
- Click OK.
Or - Open MetaStock.
- From the Power Console, select the Charts button.
- Open the desired chart.
- Type in the instrument using the Instrument(s) field at the top.
- Select instrument using Custom Online Data Lists or Public Online Data Lists.
- Select local data instrument using Local Data Lists.
- Open the Insert menu
- Select Trendline
- Click at the desired start point, move the mouse to the desired end point and click again.
- Double click, or right-click and select Properties, on the trendline.
- Select the Right Arrow option.
- Select the Left Arrow option, if desired.
- Click OK.
