***WARNING*** Please be cautious when editing this file, as invalid entries can cause MetaStock to no longer open.
- Close MetaStock
- Open File Explorer and browse to the following folder path (AppData is a hidden folder, so a View option may need to be changed to Show hidden files):
- C:\Users\{Profile Name}\AppData\Local\Thomson Reuters\MetaStock\17.0
- Locate PowerConsoleSettings.xml
- Right click on the file
- Select Open with…
- Select Notepad
- Locate the following line
- <NumMostProfitableToKeepLimit>100</NumMostProfitableToKeepLimit>
- Change 100 to the desired value. Increasing this value may cause the System Tester database to reach its maximum size limit.
