I'm sorry if this has been answered, but I can only find posts about how to convert CSV files into Metastock files.
I can find some older definitons in a PDF document of the files & fields on the web (not here) but they are out of date. I could eventually work it out but if someone can share same that would be wonderful.

You can order the Read version of our developer's kit. You would want to contact out Sales team for this - https://www.metastock.com/partners/developers.aspx + https://www.metastock.com/company/contact.aspx
We can't really vouch for the integrity of 3rd party websites or info, but you can also check out Computrac and MetaStock File Formats to see if this might help.
