MetaStock v15 --> Current **It is important to note that you must log in to MetaStock at least once to use Offline mode and must log in at least every 21 days to have Offline mode available. There is a counter that can be seen by hovering the mouse over the online status icon in the lower-right corner of the application. There are several ways to use Offline Mode in MetaStock. To start MetaStock in Offline Mode select the Windows Start menu.
- Select the All Apps or All Programs.
- Open the Refinitiv or MetaStock folder, then select MetaStock Offline Mode.
- The first time launching a prompt to login to the service will appear, if you have not logged in successfully before. If you have successfully logged in before and saved the password, MetaStock will launch in Offline Mode.
To launch into Offline Mode while MetaStock is running:
- From the File menu, select Go Online (second to last in the list).
- Or from the Status Bar, right-click the mouse on the icon in the lower right-hand corner of the application, select Go Online.
