Hi, Which version of MetaStock are you using? In MetaStock 14 if you select an instrument or type one and apply the smart chart or a single-chart template then you will have to open the symbol one at a time (open a Daily, go back to the Power Console, change the Interval to Weekly and open chart again). You could also save a multi-chart template (make a layout of daily/weekly charts then Save As a Template) and apply this when opening the symbol. This would open an unsaved layout with a Daily/Weekly chart of one symbol.

Hi dflammia MS Support's suggestion about making a layout and creating a template is a good one that I hadn't thought about. Another option would be to use a Multi-Frame indicator such as "Multi-Frame D+ OHLC" or "Multi-Frame D+ CLOSE" to plot daily or higher time-frame prices. Some years ago I created an indicator that attempted to simulate weekly candlesticks on a daily chart. However, simulating weekly price bars for a template is certainly not something that most users would be comfortable with, even with clear instructions for the process. Roy
