Hi
I am trying to include a weekly filter to a daily data exploration formula and was wondering if it is possible and how to go about it?
Basically I would like to code the Elder Impulse System so that if the daily data is valid and then the formula goes and checks whether the weekly data is also matching.
Thanks,
JackA

Hi Jack
One way to do this would be to run a daily exploration AND a weekly exploration using the same or slightly modified code. The two explorations can be batched and use the same data.
Another possible way to go about would be to re-code the Elder Impulse System (or elements of it) in the Multi-Frame format, set the M-F code to weekly periodicity, and then call that code from previously unused scan columns. The difficulty with going down this path is that the "Elder Impulse System" is almost certainly password protected, and therefore impossible to convert to the M-F format unless MetaStock makes the system accessible for re-coding.

Thanks Roy, the first option does the trick.
Cheers,
