Looking for informed opinions from users who have upgraded to MetaStock EOD v14. 

Are the additional features useful?

Have you encountered many bugs?

What about the new EOD data format change from v11?

there is a lack of active users even in the forum, also Metastock is way behind the other trading platforms are ahead of Metastock in a lot of ways

same here I still have the first version of MetaStock Looked at Ninjatrader not for me, tried signal like it a lot using it right now. I know a lot of big traders use Esignal also.
What is your thought about Metastock, my opinion it will disappear real soon lack of forum users and the staff has changed a lot

MS has certainly stalled or should I say become less competitive them many other TA packages. I've done a lot of exploration development over the years in meta-stock and it's great for EOD filtering. Seriously looking at esig for RT trading. Which package are you using, the classic or the advanced? And what is your opinion and thoughts?

I use Esignal Signature $145 per month I'm a realtime gap trader

Nasdqg - I see by your prior posts that you struggled with and finally dropped MS. What if any esig addins do you find helpful. I might try the one month trial that esig is offering. Also, what resources did you find pertaining to esig. Thanks, doug

Doug,

The addon I also use with signal is trade ideas scanner, the other good thing is that I can place my trades right from the charts. Charts has pre market data which is helpful before the market opens. and the signal platform is a lot more current than MS. I also know a lot of traders that use signal and they say good things
