In the merge command of The Downloader you can select one security at a time to merge it's data. with a security of the same name in the destination folder. Is there any way I can merge several securities at a timefrom the source folder to securities with the same name in the destination folder?
Also I would like to know more details about the options --'keep source'--'keep destination' and 'keep both'
Regards,
Dr.Chatterjee

                Hello,
No, the Merge function is designed to merge one source security into one destination security. The options are how the merge would handle duplicate records (records with the same date). Keep Source would overwrite the duplicate dates inside the destination file. Keep Destination would ignore the source data where duplicate dates exists, and Keep Both would put both (duplicate) dates inside the destination security file. |
