When I have a layout with 2 charts (daily and weekly of same symbol), is it possible to have the cursor (crosshairs) moving in both charts ?
For example if in daily chart I'm pointing to May, 31th, I would like to have the same cursor also pointing to the bar of the week containing May, 31th.
This exists in several charting software but I never found any way of metastock (11.0) doing it.

Hi,
This is not possible within MetaStock, but has been written up as an enhancement request.

Nine years later I would like to reraise this issue. I have become used to this feature in other charting platforms both for multiple symbols, and for multiple time frames. Dissapointed that Metastock still cannnot do this. Also dissapointed that Metastock does not seem to be capable of multi timeframe analysis!

Thank you for your message. The crosshairs across charts is something we are looking to implement in the near future (although I cannot give a specific date). Multiple time frame analysis is possible to a limited degree. You can for example write formulas that effectively compress lower time frames into higher time frames. But ultimately when we rewrite our formula language, including the ability to specify the interval directly is something we would like to add to make this easier and more flexible.
