In help, the dropdown menu does not contain get updates. Have reinstalled on advice from Mstock help, but same thing. This occurs only on a Sony laptop using Windows 8.1. I have Mstock 13 EOD on a desktop using Windows 8.1 and the update is visible and functions in Help. Metastock help was to reinstall and that was done in laptop but same result, no "get updates+ in dropdown menu in Help when Mstock up and running.

Hello,

The Help-->Check for Updates functionality never worked for End-of-Day and didn't really work for MetaStock Pro either. This was removed from the Help menu in the latest update.

For MetaStock End-of-Day, you will have to log in to MetaStock.com and go to the My Downloads page - https://www.metastock.co...stomer/support/download/

Click on the #3 step to install MetaStock 13 End-of-Day.

For MetaStock Pro users, you must launch the Eikon / Xenith software, click the orange helios in the upper left corner, click Help-->About Thomson Reuters Eikon, then click Add-Ons, then select the update you need and click the Install Updates button.

Thank you. Contact with Metastock help was slow to finally advise what you disclose, even requesting screen shots of drop down help menu lacking Get Updates. Nice to know "it never worked" after three e-mails.

Sorry for the confusion. We have had a similar issue recently with our real-time version where the update/addon list was empty/blank. My guess is they might have confused your issue with that one.
