Installing the newest version of Metastock has crippled my computer when it comes to search function. And we know most of us live and die by the search function. Basically install Metastock on windows 8.1, now when you use the any search function 9charm or not) you will see that no new files are found from the date you installed Metastock. And pull up any setting files via search gear symbol charm function, you will see the results but when and click on something like "updates" etc, you can click on it as many times as you wish, and nothing will happen.

I finally got Metastock to acknowledge the problem, and the response was: "We never said our program was compatible with 8.1, only 8.0" Hmmm...then freaking tell us in bold writing. Because my only choice would be to blitz my computer!

Hey at least they finally acknowledged they knew about it~! If anyone knows how to resolve feel free to share!
