Rank: Member Groups: Registered, Registered Users, Unverified Users Joined: 6/12/2012(UTC) Posts: 19 Location: South Africa - JHB		I have been battling for over a week now, trying to work out which ticker codes in MetaStock Reuters Datalink are for S&P (US market) Sector Ticker Codes Industry Group Ticker Codes Industry Ticker Codes Sub-Industry Ticker Codes There is just thousands of ticker index codes with many looking like they duplicates. Can someone help me find out what these Reuters codes are? I am using Metastock 11 Kind Regards

The best way to find them I have found is to look at the index vendors website. They normally list Reuters and Bloomberg codes in their fact sheets or in some cases have a downloadable spreadsheet with codes for all their indices. For example, the S&P 500 Sector Indices factsheet is here, which has the codes - http://eu.spindices.com/documents/factsheets/fs-sp-500-sector-indices-ltr.pdf?force_download=true A few others: MSCI indices can be found here - http://www.msci.com/products/indices/tools/tickers/ FTSE indices are here (Excel spreadsheet) - http://www.ftse.com/Indices/FTSE_Real-Time_Vendor_Codes/Downloads/FTSE_Real_Time_Vendor_Codes_.xls STOXX indices (Excel spreadsheet) - http://www.stoxx.com/download/stoxx_indices.xls
