I tried to search about any strategy using limit orders to enter the position at a horizontal level , for example Previous day High ( i mean the entry point previous day high ) but trade execution option in the simulation section didnot allow such action

Any help

Have a read of the MS User Manual for using pending orders in the System Tester, and the use of the price boxes in the tester Buy and Sell pages. wabbit [:D]

Formula:
Ref(Black(),-1)
Order Type: Limit
Limit or stop price Fml("PreviousDayHigh") But it doesnot work

What "doesn't work"?

Does the EST not take any orders? Do some orders get filled and others not? Do orders seem to happen at random times? Simply stating that something doesn't work provides no helpful information for us to work with.

What version of MS are you using?
