Problem attaching "Expert Adviser" in MetaStock

Hi,
When I am trying to attach an indicator from "Expert Adviser " in MetaStock first when I click Attach it doesn't do anything and then if I double click on the indicator name it would just freeze Metastock. Anybody has that issue?

Not sure just WHAT you're doing, from your description. Usually, you ATTACH an Expert, and DRAG an Indicator.
Have you downloaded & worked through the Primer? (see below my signature).
Click on RESOURCES and/or VIDEO for some visual tutorials.

why should I drag an indicator if I attached an expert?
when I "attach" an expert and going back to the "Expert Adviser" i see that it's un-selected itself. is this because i need to attach indicator right after?

You don't "attach" an indicator.
Pay close attention to the ATTACH button. If an Expert is already attached, you must DETACH it first, before you ATTACH a different one.

In addition to what JJ has said so far, read the MS User Manual to see that Expert Advisors are containers for trends, commentary, alerts, highlights and symbols, and only one EA can be ATTACHED to a chart at any one time. On the other hand, indicators return values as "lines" which can be displayed on the chart, and you can INSERT as many indicators "as you like" (I believe the limit is actually 2000? I've never bothered to find out.)
