Thought i had found a couple of decent one which would work on weekly charts for longer term trades, which is where i like to operate.

The returns were theoretically around 20% plus. after commisions . However when i put a minimum price of .40cents into my systems the profits dropped to 10% and once i went to minimum price of 0.99 cents the profits dropped to around 5%

So it appears most of the theoretical profits from these systems tests come from the penny dreadful stocks. This is because a few of them have massive gains , while the many more that failed over the years are not there to be screened , so there heavy survivor bias at that level.

Another problem is that those stocks priced around 10c have massive slippage if you try to enter them , end up paying 10% extra than the system test theoretically enters at.

I enjoy tinkering around with it ,designing pretty looking expert advisors and new systems , but in terms of making any money i wont be relying on any system
