New to MetaStock and I had a question about how to cycle through a set of stocks.
Basically here is what I want to do for a set of stocks I'm looking at:
1. Show a set time period in the window (say 1/1/2012-7/31/2012)
2. For each stock show the same set of technical indicators.
3. Cycle through the stocks, ideally with a single button (ex: press tab to go to the next stock)
What is the quickest/easiest way to do this in MetaStock?

When you open a chart in metastock, the next security button will cycle to the next chart in the list . To restrict this to a specific group of securites, you would need just thos securities in a list by themselves. This could be a folder in favorites or a custom .SYM file.
The steps to create a custom .SYM file are discribed in the Download's help
