Hi,

I would appreciate if anyone can figure out the indicator (i mean the moving average) used on these charts. The charts are as below one of Philippines and the other is of Greece.

I tried with 12 EMA but close to it and not similar so wanted to check where i'm wrong or what is wrong on my part.

MetaStock comes with Several types of moving averages: Simple, Exponential, Volume Adjusted, Weighted, Variable, Triangular, and Time Series. We can not test all these different averages in all time periods to try and match a chart. Even if you restrict the calculation to just one type of average, it is far easier for you to change the time periods and make the comparision than we can. We are looking at an image and guessing the accuracy. If you have access to the original chart, you can just read the values for each day know if the value for any date is accurate or not and how far off it is.
