Hi all,

Having trouble in setting the first date for MS x-axis . Every time I adjusted the first date, MS will readjust to short period of time when I reopen the chart. I have looked in the menu but cant find it. How can I adjust the first date so it turns out to be the first date I enter every time I reopen the chart? Many thanks.

Make sure you check the box for "Retain Scale".

Hi JK

What works for me is I go into the File/Open menu, then select Options/Load Options in the dropdown window. The you can set the number of bars for Load and Display. Having done that I think you can back out without actually loading a new chart, but check that out for yourself. This approach doesn't guarantee a start date but it will get you very close. I'm more interested in having explorations cover the same range as I display so it makes sense to work to a set number of bars rather than a set date.
