Jimmy,
Now that you have the FREE version try it out, once you see the advantages in this style of trading then you would have to purchase the full version

Thanks.

the VST code requires MS local data, which of course MS 13 doesn't have. I wonder if you can load the SPX and then refer back to that security?

Just got this from Jose Silva
VST (free) in MS 13, it does not require MS local data at all, so it should work just fine as long as there isn't another DLL installation bug in v13.VSTpro references the SPX, but works fine with online data:{2}"ONLINE:.SPX"http://www.metastocktools.com/vst/manual/#setup

Thanks Henry1224.
Following on your message I re-try to install VST and it was successful by " Run as Admin" to make those folders and sub-folders visible under "Thomson Reuters" folder.

Hello, I tried to install VST (free) on: - Win7 x64 with working version of MetaStock v13
- WinServer 2012 x64 with working version of MetaStock v13
In both cases as local administrator and using run as with administrator credentials. In both cases, I got a pop-up with message that MetaStock Formula Organizer has stopped working (with the Install Status hung at verifying CVf.dll at 2%). Anyone know my mistake and/or a workaround/cause for this? Thank you in advance. Ted

Hello,
Update: I've been told (offline) that this is a known issue, and there is no known workaround other than using v11 MetaStock.
Equis, any ETA on a fix/workaround?
Thanks. Ted
