Hello, I am wondering whether MetaStock charts could display returns between any of 2 price levels. If they could, please tell me how to get it. Tks

I, for one, have absolutely no idea what you just said.

Sorry. I just want to see visually how much return between 2 price levels displayed in a Metastock price chart of some stock. Rates of return would be expected to display in a similar way as Fibonacci retracement tool.

You'd need to use some form of code to identify the datums i.e. the "peaks" and "troughs, which be the reference price for the comparison, then you could either use ValueWhen() in an expression to report how far the price has moved, or use the Forum.dll variable ROC function.
The hard part is statically defining the datums.

Thanks. I think that it is a quite popular need for chart analysts. Why doesn't MetaStock have a built-in tool to do that? It's not too much different from the need for the Bollinger Bands:)

This ALMOST sounds like a rate-of-change. Perhaps you could dummy something up, post it with IMGUR.com and someone might come up with something.
