MetaStock indicators currently only allow six input prompts. I would like to see this limitation eliminated or greatly increased. For example: I have a custom indicator that plots 8 channel lines spaced at different offsets. In addition I have a prompt for start of the line, end of the line, open close high and low, extend the line in addition to a couple more prompts for a total of six. So to select which of the 8 channel lines I want to display I have to go into the formula and comment out certain plots. Then when I want to use the same indicator on a different chart I have to go back into the formula a re-comment which messes up the other chart. So to solve this problem I have to have copies of my indicator for each different chart I am analyzing. It gets confusing as to which copy of the indicator I am using for each chart. Adding the ability to hve unlimited prompts would solve this problem.
