Mark Leibovit
Mark Leibovit is the developer of the Leibovit Volume Reversal (aka the Volume Reversal) and the publisher and chief market strategist for the Leibovit VR Newsletters which currently includes VRTrader.com and the VRGoldletter.com. His technical expertise is in stock and futures selection, short and mid-term trading, and broad market timing based upon his proprietary Volume Reversal ™ methodology and Annual Forecast Model. You may have recognized Mark Leibovit as one of the ten "elves" on Louis Rukeyser's Wall Street Week (PBS television) where he served as a weekly consultant for seven years or from the Nightly Business Report (PBS television) where he appeared as a regular market monitor guest for 30 years. His proprietary VR market commentary has been heard or read on numerous radio, television, and financial formats around the US and Canada (most notably CNBC, BNN, Bloomberg, Barrons, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The HuffingtonPost.com, Marke[censored]ch.com, and Moneytalks.net).
Mr. Leibovit was a member of the Chicago Board Options Exchange where he became a Market Maker in 1976. In 1979 he served as research director for Freehling & Co. and later as technical research director for Rodman & Renshaw. Mr. Leibovit continues to provide technical research and consulting services to institutional fund managers through his company, VR Strategic Consultants LLC. Mark Leibovit is the author of the Traders Book of Volume, McGraw Hill (2011 release). Timer Digest named Mark Leibovit "Timer of the Year" for 2006 and the #1 Intermediate Market Timer for the 10 year period from December, 1997 to December 2007. In 2010 he was named the #2 Market Timer and the #2 Gold Timer for the ten-year period ending 12/31/09. He holds a CIMA and AIF designation, is a member of the Market Technicians Association and the CFA Institute. He also holds a M.Ed and B.S. from the University of Florida.
