I am looking for a thread that was posted on the community over a year ago about the ins, outs and pitfuls of hiring developers to program trading systems, but unable to find this thread.
Can anyone suggest or provide links to threads that have been posted on this subject.

Well......... If I were to hire a developer to write a program for me I would make
sure the contract stated who owns both the idea and the source code and specifically
state the developer does not have the right to market said work unless specifically
authorized by myself and that all such work on my behalf be deleted from the developer's hard drive upon final payment. You may want to modify and/or add more stuff as you think necessary.
