what is the correlation use on metastock? spearman or pearson?
why is that the correlation function return a different value compared to the correlation indicator using the same data?
For the 3 bars data below what is your correlation value? Is the value 0.15 using the correlation function with zero shift?
a b 19.01 9.22 19.12 9.54 19.48 9.66

Both MetaStock and Microsoft Excel return 0.85011 (correct to 5 d.p.). It should be Pearson's formula.

P is the selected data array. If nothing is selected then P is empty.
Use Security() instead.
