Good Day, I am new to the MetaStock Online Community. I'm getting a error message when trying to open my MetaStock 11 EOD, on my Windows 7 (64bit) computer, "Originally licensed on a different computer." Click OK everything closes. (the steps I found on the site for this problem does not seem to work on my side: this is the post I found, http://forum.equis.com/forums/thread/31162.aspx) When I open my Control Activation page I get this error: :-1 :Error:Execution Error - Missing Parameter. Click OK everything closes. I've searched the error, and it seems like I'm the only one getting this error, could this be a problem with my computer itself? Thank You in advance Amorie

Amorie,
The resolution to this requires an updated version of the control activation program and then you must chose to import the license certificate instead of using the standard activation procedure. Occasionally, a few extra steps are also required.
I recommend you either call the Equis Support department (1-801-265-9998) OR use the support chat service. The support rep you get can email you the file and walk you through the steps. The rep will also be on hand if anything further is required.
