Have an weekly indicator on daily chart
How to code +1 for the weekly indicator is increasing and -1 for the weekly indicator is decreasing?
Because if u plot any weekly indicator on daily chart, the indicator is in steps and A>REF(A,-1) or A<REF(A,-1) do not wok

does your weekly indicator update daily or does it update on Friday?

A>Ref(A,-5) or A<Ref(A,-5) should work

hi henry, use the powerpivot to create the weekly indicator. but the indicator seems to change value on monday rather than on friday. That is the indicator plots the friday value but update on monday

flexi,
I have been finding out that PP+ delay's the signal by a day. I have to look into it more!

I still use the weekly indicators as a sign of overbought and oversold
