I have Metastock 11 installed on a laptop and desktop. I am upgrading the the desktop from a Win XP2 SP3 system to 64bit Windows 7. I have tried to deactivate the program on this latter computer via the internet but get "you did not enter enough digits" error message. The legitimate licence number I am using has three sets of 6 digits separated by a dash. I have tried this as well as inputting the numbers without the dashes with the same result. Can anyone suggest a solution? I have contacted Paritech (Australian distrbuter) who passed me on to Equis support but have not received any answers as yet.

Bonjour,
Did you :
- uninstall Metastock
- Update XP-> Win 7 64 bits
- re-intall Metastock
If you do not have done this, i suggest :
- uninstall Metastock
- re-install Metastock.

I did not make it clear that I was upgrading to Win7 on a new computer. So, at the moment I have Metastock installed on two computers but am unable to instal it to the Win7 computer because the deactivation process does not work on one of the old ones.

Equis came to my rescue and remotely solved my problem.
