I have a metastock custom indicator based on which I have developed an expolration and an expert advisor, which I would like to share with a few of my friends. However, I would like to password protect these, so that no one can see the coding and also impose a time limit on their usage, so that once installed on their PC, they can use it only for a fixed number of days, specified by me. Is this possible ? Please help.

why bother? If they are truly your friends, then give them the code! If they are not that close, then don't give them any help!

There is so much code out there, your expert must be the holy grail!

Have them download the VST from metastocktools.com

DRM modules can be purchased and added into a .dll

More simplistic protection can be coded, but is easily worked around.
