I would like to email myself SmartCharts that I've updated with personal symbols and markings. I'm able to use a flash drive to transfer these charts from my work laptop to my home desktop but in the too-often event that I forget said flash drive, I'd like to email the charts to myself. I've tried compressing the folder (along with its subfolder contents -- MSSmart folder and associated .MWS files) and emailing it to myself but when I think I correctly extract the files and try to open them on MetaStock the error message of "illegal file type" appears. Am I compressing/extracting files incorrectly or am I going about this entirely wrong? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

After toying with this further, i finally figured it out. I have to reload my emailed/downloaded folder of SmartCharts onto the Downloader to convert it into a format that, I believe, MetaStock can view as a SmartChart.
