Currently using Metastock, using a 5day,10day and 15day moving average to generate buy/sell signals which I recieve via email. I do this by having 3 seperate windows and thus I recieve 3 seperate emails, which I export into excel and net off the signal. For instance the moving averages will generate the following signals:
5day Buy
10day Buy
15day Sell
So my netted off signal is "BUY". Unfortunately I have to net this off in excel. Is there a way of running all the averages in one window and having it netted off and generating an email without me having to do this in excel? Thanks

it sounds like you need an expert attached to your chart.
1st what time frame are you trading? 2nd what is your trading system?

Trading 3 time frames:
5mins,10mins,15mins.
I have programmed my own strategy, so recieving signals from the individual time frames via email.

your trading 3 time frames 5 10 15 min charts and below you are using 5 10 15 daily ma averages for signals and now you want one signal from all of the charts?
An expert will fire off an alert for the current time frame.
If you want an expert to fire off an alert on another chart from a different time frame or from the previous time frame but a longer ma then you have to adjust the ma's!

Yes. The signals generated are off all different charts. The product being traded is the same, however the signals generated are independant. So on the same product, we have 3 charts hence 3 different signals. I require a netted off signal of all 3. i.e if 2 buys 1 sell, then BUY and vice versa.
