Pretty new to MetaStock.

I made an indicator which returns either -1, 0, +1. Some kind of pivoting function. I would like to plot the -1 and +1's on a price chart. I made a new indicator adding the latter to the closing price and then I plot the indicator using dots style.

Problem is that I only want the -1 and +1 plotted, not the 0's (whose dots now end up on the closing price).

Is there a way to conditionally only plot certain dots. I have been looking on this forum and on the internet... Closest I find is to make some dots be the same color as the background and plot them at a (hopefully) unused position... This is explained in e.g. http://forum.equis.com/forums/post/31855.aspx

Is there a better way to conditionally plot things? Kind of afraid that if I use the the trick above multiple times some day I'm going to overplot a valid point with an "invisible dot".

Regards,
Sven
