Hi Rajnish
Larry Williams has a Commercials Proxy Index and he discusses it briefly in his book "Trade Stocks & Commodities with the Insiders - Secrets of the COT Report". The discussion is pretty vague but with the aid of his charts, a few clues from other sources, a little bit of guesswork and some luck, I was able to come up with a pretty close approximation. My understanding is that Larry doesn't take kindly to people taking his proprietary indicators public, so sorry, I won't be posting the MetaStock code any time soon.

watch jake bernsteins webinar in the forum archives and his plug ins use the cot very effectively... and give a good idea of the pros and cons of the cot due to serious lag time and timing issues.
