Are there any keyboard shortcut to select the next chart in a layout? The Previous and Next buttons selects the next chart in the directory, not in the layout.

[ Alt - right arrow ] should do it.

Thanks but it behaves exactly as the normal Next button. I tested by having a layout with only one share. Clicking Alt-right arrow selects another share in the same directory as the one residing in the layout file.

The next security button does as you said, picks the next "security" in the folder that the original security was in. Chart, layout, etc. doesn't really apply. That said, I'm not sure I fully understand the behavior you're looking for.
You can use Ctrl-Tab to cycle the focus on the various charts that are opened however I am not sure if this is what you meant by changing to a different chart in the layout.

Hi Justin. If peak is seeking the same thing as I.. I want to be able to set the defaults for the NEXT chart in my layout and then quickly move back and forth between charts. e.g. I run an explore that returns 5 charts. I open all 5 charts. I set the periodicity of the first chart to Monthly. I then ctrl-tab to the next chart and the periodicity is back to daily. I then change it to Monthly. ctrl-tab to the next, periodicity back to daily, etc. i.e. I'd like to have the NEXT and Previous Security arrows act on only the currently open charts.. After all, I've opened the charts for analysis. I don't want to look at ALL securities, only Open Charts.
I hope this helps clarify what I seek. peak?
Cheers 1putt

maybe [ctrl] [tab] ( in german [strg] [tab]) is the one you searched for?
