hi , can anybody help me with this error(the specified from date falls outside the range of the selected local data). i want to test a security with daily periodicity. when i click on it it says 50000 periods prior to 1/1/1994..when i click / use price data and enter dates from 1st jan 2009 to 31st dec 2009.. it says data outside range..i have this data from (first date-1/1/2010 to last date-1/2/1995).. can any body be kind enough to help me

I believe this is because the first date selected is not a valid trading day. Try picking a non-holiday/non-weekend start date (i.e. 1/2/2009) and see if this helps.
