How to combine different period sets.
What I want? If mov (C, 5) weekly = 3 and C>Ref(C,-1) daily then
How do combine monthly,weekly, daily periods in one test, exploration etc?
best regards IWSP

Hi IWSP
If you have my Multi-Frame D SMA formula you could write it like this.
Wsma:=Fml("Multi-Fame D SMA");
If(Min(Wsma,C) > Ref(C,-1),{then} ,{else} );
Yo'd have to fill in the blank bits. The D series of Multi-Frame indicators default to plotting weekly values on daily charts. To generate a monthly value all you’d need to do is make and rename a copy of the Multi-Frame indicator and change the default frame size to 1 month. Frame size equates to the higher periodicity being simulated on a charts base periodicity. Weekly and monthly plots on daily charts appear as stepped rather than smooth plots. That’s because weekly or monthly values are only updated at the end of the week or month (frame) – a value is held constant until the next end-of-frame occurs when new value is calculated. Write to me at rlarsen@quik.co.nz if you require more information.
